About Me

My photo
Marcus J. Echols
I became politically active because I wanted to "bring voices to power." I believe in what I stand for and that is honest government. The uplift of those who don't have a voice excited and gave me a certain passion that completed the meaning of my purpose. I believe that the only way the African-American community can attain "fairness" and "equity" is by voting leaders in office who will empower the grassroots. I believe that as soon as this doesn't happen we should vote them out office. No second chances because some of our leaders develop near perfect excuses of failing to empower the grassroots election after election!
